Roline (affectionately called Sister T) is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and resides in Little Rock, AR.  

Church Affiliations

At age 9, she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was baptized by the New Zion Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA., Rev. Crispus S.
Gordon, Sr., Pastor. Ministry service at New Zion include:
  • Assistant Director of Youth
  • Sunday School Secretary
  • VBS Teacher
  • New Zion Chorale
  • Young Women's Mission Secretary
  • Youth Study Center Team, which ministered to incarcerated youth.

In 1992, united with
Victory & Power Ministries, Baton Rouge, LA, Ralph Moore Pastor. There Roline participated with the Evangelism Team.

In January 1993, Roline united with the
Union Missionary Baptist Church, Dallas, TX, Dr. Charles C. Martin Sr., Pastor. There she served:
  • Four years as Church Secretary.
  • Organizer and Director of the Vacation Bible School. She wrote the guidelines and operation procedures for the VBS. Also, conducted
    the VBS Training Workshops for 5 years.

  • Sunday School Teacher
  • Children & Youth Liaison
  • Nursing Home Outreach Team
  • Singles Ministry Instructor
  • Conducted Training Workshops for Children's Ministry Workers

In May 1997, Sis. Thomas united with the
True Believers Baptist Church in Wills Point, Texas, where her husband, Rev. Earnest Thomas,
was called to Pastor.
  • Organized True Believer's first Women's Conference, Fall Festival, Youth Lock-in, and Back to School Bash.
  • Served as Sunday School Teacher of adults and children.
  • Served as Minister of Music. In this capacity she organized the Youth For Christ Choir, Male Chorus, Praise Team, and Dance Ministry.
  • Founder and Director of the Women of Excellence (WOE) Ministry.
  • Founded and served as editor-in-chief of the "Believers News", the church's monthly news publication.

In late August 2003, Sis. Thomas united with the
St. Mark Baptist Church, in Little Rock, Arkansas, under the leadership of Bishop Steven
Arnold, where her husband was called to serve as Pastor of Discipleship. Current service includes:
  • Associate Minister
  • Organizing and Directing Soul Care Lay Counselors Ministry
  • Marriage and Premarital Counselor
  • Leader in Prison Ministry. Wrote the Prison Ministry's Policy and Procedure Manual currently used by St. Mark.
  • Facilitate a Marriage Ministry Group
  • Instructor in the Roddy E. Collins School of Ministry
  • Church Wide Studies Teacher
  • Outreach Council which plans the work of the Outreach Ministry.
  • Authored the 7-Day Devotional Study Book used by the Foreign Mission Teams

"The Black Inventor's Zone", a youth play spoofing the classic television show "The Twilight Zone" which highlighted achievements of
Afro-American inventors. The play was presented by the Union MBC, Dallas, TX and True Believers BC, Wills Point, TX

Other Service
God has blessed Sis. Thomas with many gifts and talents.  She is a graphic arts designer for several non-profit organizations, designing
brochures, fliers, business cards, booklets, etc. She has also taught a weekly ceramics class, and monthly Arts and Craft Class. Sis. Thomas,
an accomplished cook, specializing in New Orleans Cuisine, also caters for parties and events.  A seamstress, she has designed clothing for
women and children, and is the former owner of Elegant Hats, a lucrative business which provided customized hats designed and crafted by
Sis. Thomas. Roline is also a past Board Member of the Moates Elementary PTA of Desoto, TX.
