"I Worship Thee"
Posted by Long Fingers

A great and simple praise song from Joe Pace's album, "Joe Pace Presents: Shake The Foundation". I wrote
out the chords that I heard on the recording (with the exception of the single notes where indicated). Try to
play around with them to come up with voicings and inversions that sound pleasing to you. You can apply the
drop voicing method for a fuller sound..for example..
Where I have a Gm9:

G, Bb, D, F, A
1, b3, 5, b7, 9

Instead of just dropping the root, G, to the bass.

(G / Bb, D, F, A)
(1 / b3, 5, b7, 9)

You can drop the root along with the fifth and seventh to the bass and still play the fifth and seventh in your
right for a fuller sound.

(G, D, F / Bb, D, F, A)
(1, 5, b7, / b3, 5, b7, 9)

Guess whatthat's still a Gmaj9 chordit's all about voicing and invesionsthey will help make your sound
unique to you.
